Deep & Soul Project featuring Danny - Keep on

Solid Ground bless us with the marvelous "Keep on" by Deep & Soul Project (Carlos Vargas & Jair Deodato) which features the vocal talents of Danny. The original version (featured on the labels "Summer Sampler 2011" reviewed back in July) is a timeless old-school flavored affair featuring a masterly orchestration and sublime vocals by Danny over a captivating funk drenched backing. The legendary John Morales takes on the song, and what shall we say... His eternal interpretations are sheer musical bliss, staying true to the original while oozing with his signature touch - true musicianship. Not to forget to mention Sole Essential's delectable 'Winter Breeze Mix' giving the track a mesmerizing deep feel.

MAQman - Night Life EP Remixes Back in June we wrote about the original release "We were instantly blown away by the beauty of the orchestration and vocals, this is pure soulful dance music made for eternity..." Then, a couple of days ago, we got the remix package, and what shall we say - as with the original release, we can't stop listening to these musical gems... Each of the three equally fantastic songs produced by MAQman (featuring incredible vocals by Selina Campbell, Aaron Washington and Joseph Junior) have been respectfully reworked, keeping the spirit of the original alive while giving them a fresh edge. MAQman himself contributes one previously unreleased version per song, on top of this you have DeeJay Kul, Luman Child and Miles Moore adding their distinctive touch, with each of the new versions showing an amazing depth of influences such as disco, funk, soul and house to name just a few.

There is not only the vocal version but also two fantastic dubs (for the purists, all of the tree are available as instrumentals as well).
