Back in October 2008, Tone Control Music presented the amazing "Passin' thru" by Poussez (Jafar and Maxime Cescau) and Demarkus Lewis which features sensual vocals by songstress Hannah Khemoh, now this wicked track returns with a phenomenal selection remixes taking this wonderful song to new heights. First up we have Sean McCabe delivering an instant classic, adding his signature soulful touch loaded with grand keys and organs. Next up is Demarkus Lewis with his infectious yet soulful string-led rendition, while finally AtJazz contributes a celestial deep jazzed-up dub oozing with admirable melodies. |

The Sophisticado vinyl series is here, with the first release being Vick Lavender's singular remixes of "Change" by Monodeluxe, a wonderful production featuring sultry vocals courtesy of Jaidene Veda. Not much needs to be said about this release besides this is another choice production (more precisely remix) oozing with the vintage sound Vick Lavender is famous for, featuring stellar keys by Vijay Tellis-Nayak (don't miss to check out the 'Organ Mix' on the flip side and you know what we're talking about) and an arrangement that speak for themself - soulful house music made for eternity. Diva Down Entertainment follow-up their debut release "I got my pride" by SuSu Bobien (released in January of last year) with "U turn", a phenomenal song which features lyrics inspired by a sermon, written by DewBJoyful Productions aka Dewey Andrew Cioffi and BJ Nelson and performed by legendary house music diva Dawn Tallman who impresses with her inimitable deeply felt rendition of the lyrics. The mixes are courtesy of Davidson Ospina whose sublime deep version is spell binding yet smooth and soulful, Josh Milan who contributes an utterly soulful interpretation, and finally Menakeys who serves a fiery rework featuring distinguished keys. In simple terms: a musical gem that is timeless and essential. |

This fantastic production by Aphreme combines the unmistakable heartfelt vocals by Cei Bei with lush keys and deep infectious rhythms, with the result being a mind-blowing piece of soulful house music guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. Back in 2004, Blaze presented Underground Dance Artist United for Life with their album "Keep hope alive", a charity project that helped "Lifebeat" in its fight against AIDS, featuring illustrious artists such as Kenny Bobien, Barbara Tucker, Ultra Nate, Arnold Jarvis, Byron Stingily, Joi Cardwell, Dawn Tallmann... The album was followed by consecutive single releases, one being the marvelous "A wonderful place" featuring legendary house music diva Ultra Nate on vocals. Now this timeless gem returns in fresh mixes by man of the moment Sean McCabe who takes the song to the next level adding his distinctive soulful touch, with delightful keys accompanying Ultra Nate's incomparable vocals.
