The labels debut release "Set me free" by South Africa's Mr. Funk Daddy features the sexy voice of DJ Sue and celestial synth melodies over enchanting afro-deep rhythms, taken to the next level by Native Roots, Boddhi Satva and DJ StanZeff all adding their signature afro-deep touch.

Over the past five years, South Africa's Hood Natives (DJ Fale , DJ Sqwai and Mr Edge) have become a household name in the South African house music scene, now they release the phenomenal "Hood Nation Vol. 1" album which includes not less than twelve inspirational instrumental tracks, three of them featuring sixteen year old keyboardist Mpumi. This outstanding album takes you on an eclectic journey through the different styles of South African deep house music you wish would never end... We've only heard the beginning of Hood Natives as volume two is already in the works and will feature other up and coming producers who are part of Hood Natives friends and family tree...

It has been a while since the impeccable duo of Jonny Montana and Craig Stewart blessed us with their soulful sounds, now thankfully they are back together with this gem featuring the one and only Stephanie Cooke on vocals. "Think I'm falling" is a fabulous production oozing with the beloved organic jazz drenched sound Jonny Montana and Craig Stewart are famous for, with Stephanie Cooke's inimitable sultry vocals being accompanied by a sublime jazzy orchestration and smooth laidback rhythms. Also on board is legendary producer and remixer John Morales (together with Sergio Munzibai he is responsible for some of the most memorable remixes in dance music history) who adds his magic touch - the result is simply breathtaking and guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. By no means to be missed.

The 17-piece Soulchestra reintroduces the L.T.D classic "Love ballad" from 1976 with none other than Eric King on vocals. Not much needs to be said about this gem other than the blazin' hot live strings combined with Eric King's enchanting vocals and the organic funk soaked backing will stand the test of time and soon become an all time classic.

Now the label celebrates their fiftieth release with "When we were young" by Lilac Jeans and Kap, a marvelous soulful afro-deep production guaranteed to make you yearn for more thanks to laidback yet spell binding rhythms, heavenly melodies and deeply rooted vocals. But this is not all as the release also includes superb remixes by Jaso, Hallex M and Soulbay all adding their signature soulful/deep touch, making it next to impossible to choose a favorite version.
