The Salt Shaker Music Group are about to launch "The Classic Rework Series" which will focus on classic dance favorites reworked and reimagined by some of the top names from the dance music community. The first release in the series is this fabulous cover of the unforgettable Sylvester classic "I need you" performed by none other than legendary Kenny Bobien and produced by Jose Burgos, not to forget to mention the cameo musical appearance by house music diva Dawn Tallman. Italy's Dolls Combers are back on Spirit of House with "Nothing lasts forever", a marvelous soul/jazz oozing production on a laidback tip featuring heartfelt vocals by James Lavonz, grand jazzy keys and heavenly chords over a smoothly stompin' organic backdrop. The Funklovers contribute two masterly orchestrated versions, with the first one being a fabulous soul/funk infused interpretation, while the second one gives the song an uplifting old school inspired Disco-Funk feel. Completing the package are Mangesto with their fantastic deep rendition spreading a warm melodious feel on the dance floor.
