Forthcoming to Nervous Records is this absolutely brilliant and massive remix package of "Seven mile" by house music pioneer Louie Vega laced with Detroit maverick Moodymann's eminent vocals. Originally released back in 2022 on Louie Vega^s critically acclaimed full length album "Expansions in the NYC", Included in the package are the original in a short version, the unreleased instrumental demo as well as a phenomenal selection of remixes: Dennis Quin serves an inexorable chunky workout, Kai Alce contributes a glamorous masterly orchestrated soulful interpretation, Rocco Rodamaal teams up with Alex Finkin for a scintillating cosmic remix and then goes solo for an utterly hypnotic deep house rework and an entrancing late night workout. Finally, Charles Levine delivers both an infectious funked-up remix and an edgy version that turns up th vibe a notch.
