Pick of the Week: T. Kolai "Teak all eye" (Deluxe Edition) (Chillifunk Records Promo)

Turn back the clock to 2033 when T. Kolai (aka Washington DC based artists Taha Elroubi and Nicolas 'Kolai' Laget) released their critically acclaimed multi-genre full length album "Teak all eye" through Chillifunk Records. Fast forward to present day, and the album that blends refined electronic rhythms with a masterly orchestration (flute, saxophone, strings, bass, guitar, violin, percussion) and awe-inspiring vocals returns in a 'Deluxe Edition' that includes an eclectic selection of truly superb remixes: "Congo" (Fragile State Remix), "Exodus" (Fragile State Remix), "Why" (Rude Boy Rupert Remix),"Zouk!" (Phil Asher Restless Soul Moontime Dub), and "Zouk!" (Chillifunk Allstars Broken Beat Rework). An absolutely mind-blowing album by no means to be missed...
