Alex Ander serves an inexorably thumpin' peak-time rework laced with classy jazzy keys, from Andy Edit comes a wonderful uber soulful Balearic interpretation having written summer all over, and lastly Guido P contributes an enchanting rendition on a dreamy laidback tip. Brazilian DJ/producer Anderson Soares launches his own label Urbano Records in grand style with the marvelous "Rise and shine", a smooth and soulful yet captivating jazz and funk infused instrumental production built around a contaminous funked-up backing, splendid keys and awesome organ. Next to the 'Main Mix' the package includes a 'No Solo Mix' which drops the organ, a wonderful reprise and a bonus beats version. "What Christmas means", the first holiday album by American r&b singer Kem, was released in October 2012 through Universal Motown. Courtesy of Manousos comes a superb four-to-the-floor re-imagination of the title song which stays true and respectful to the beautiful original version yet transforms the song into a mellifluous dance floor favorite, with gentle rhythms and celestial synths accompanying Kem's one-of-a-kind vocals and the original orchestration.
