South Africa's Deepconsoul and Alpha & Olmega join forces with singer Cosmiq for "Can't be", an utterly soulful production featuring the one-of-a-kind deeply felt vocals of Cosmiq, uber cool spoken word poetry and warm melodious keys over a deep'n'smooth yet enthralling backing. Doc Link takes the track to a whole different direction by adding his beloved truly fervid and absolutely irresistible deep funked-up touch - jam-packed floors guaranteed.

Back in March, we were celebrating the phenomenal Smooth Agent Africa compilation loaded with not less than fifteen tracks taken from past and upcoming releases from the label, now one of our favorite tracks is about to get a full single release. "Inner man" by Soul Secured (Tebongo Mojjapelo) is a laidback yet thrilling and truly melodious afro-deep production using gentle percussive rhythms as playground for exquisite keys and chords. The delectable original version is accompanied by masterly remixes courtesy of Brainz and Kojo Akusa who both add their distinctive touch to take the track to a whole new level: Brainz gives the track a groovey jazzed-up feel while Kojo Akusa goes as deep as it gets on his atmospheric workout laced with celestial melodies.
Vittorio Santorelli "Find Your Joy EP" (Double Cheese Records CD Promo)
Vittorio Santorelli follows up his previous club smash "One more night" with another dance floor bomb. The title track "Find your joy" is an uplifting slice of soulful house which combines the emotive vocals of Wendy Lewis with luscious keys and infectious rhythms. Label owner Luyo turns the track into a sure-fire prime time anthem on his energetic remix, and Mexican rising star B-Liv drops a delightful deepened rendition laced with glorious melodies. The package gets completed by two bonus tracks where Vittorio Santorelli explores his deeper side.

Deep and soulful, both vocal and instrumental, each track oozing with a mind-blowing truly deepalicious afro-house vibe - in other words, a release not to be missed.
Kort "Spirit" (Favouritizm CD Promo)
Here we got a little something bringing back memories from the past... UK production duo Kort (aka Ben Webb and Chris Jordan) deliver a sure-fire peak time weapon which pays homage to the heady days of 90's warehouse parties - a high-octane gospel vocal hook, empyreal synth melodies and an utterly contaminous backdrop driven by a huge bassline are guaranteed to send the crowd into a frenzy. Italy's Tony Barbato is on remix duty, working the vocals to full effect and giving the track a wicked contemporary twist.
Jeremy Sylvester "9D4 EP" (Urban Dubz CD Promo)
Staying on an old school vein, we present you the "9D4 EP" by highly influential and prolific UK garage/house producer Jeremy Sylvester who is considered a true legend in the genre (he is revered for many classic releases on labels such as Zest 4 Life and Nice'N'Ripe). The EP features two tracks, both bringing back the beloved underground UK garage sound of yesteryear with a fresh sound which demonstrates the evolution of the genre and is sure to set the floor on fire.

Coming from France are Grand Masters whose "Like that" was released in June, while "Keep on dancin'" is currently out on promo. "Like that" is a groovey rework of the Inner Life classic "I like it like that" which combines the original vocals with grand jazzy keys, phat synths and old school inspired percussive rhythms. "Keep on dancin'" brings the Marvin Gaye classic "Got to give it up" to the dance floor, using a smoothly stompin' funk infused backing as playground for Marvin Gaye's inimitable vocals and lush keys. Both tracks come complete with pumped-up dub versions perfect for prime time play.

Closing this weeks update is the debut of Afronature on Ayize Songaa Recordings with the fantastic "Foundation EP".
