Soulbridge featuring Rachael Calladine "Reach" (HSR Records CD Promo)

The first new release from HSR Records for this week is courtesy of Soulbridge (Gigi Frassanito) who joins forces with vocalist Rachael Calladine for "Reach", a mellifluous production using a smoothly stompin' organic backdrop as playground for sublime jazzy keys, heavenly chords and Rachael Calladine's inimitable haunting vocals. DJ Umbi contributes a classic soulful interpretation oozing with a gorgeous summery vibe, and Alliance DC turn up the heat on their vibrant rework fueled with inebriant melodies.

Up and rising South African producer R.J. Soul makes his debut on Uno Mas Recordings with the magnificent "Welcome to my world", a masterly crafted soul infused gem featuring the incomparable sultry vocals of Tai Malone alongside luscious keys, dreamy chords and an infectiously thumpin' funked-up backing. From Rooted Channel Bros comes an utterly hypnotizing atmospheric afro-deep dub rework of the song. The package gets completed by three exquisite truly spell binding afro-deep instrumental productions.

A few weeks ago, CyberJamz Records dropped the blazin' hot Da Hit Makers (DjTsmooth & Salik Scott) remixes of Tyrese's hit single "Shame" (taken from his sixth studio album "Black rose" featuring background vocals by Jennifer Hudson), now come these brand new truly scintillating re-imaginations by DJ Phantom who transforms this r&b gem into a silky smooth four-to-the-floor affair which combines the glamorous original orchestration and Tyrese's unrivaled vocals with compelling yet gentle rhythms.

Piratebrain featuring David Moore "Subversive material" (AudioBite Soulful CD Promo)

David Moore, under his Piratebrain disguise, follows up his previous sure-fire dance floor bomb "Fuck the sponsors" with another guaranteed floor banger. "Subversive material" features his one-of-a-kind thought-provoking vocals and comes in two equally brilliant versions to choose from: DJ Aladdin serves a mesmerizing afro-tribal workout oozing with enchanting chord stabs, while DJxtee delivers an entrancing tech-soul rework fueled with spacey sounds.

Urvin June "Love will come and go EP" (Ohyea Muziq CD Promo)

UK based songwriter/producer Urvin June makes his return to Ohyea Muziq with "Love will come and go", a collaboration with DJ/producer JCLW. "Love will come and go" is truly inspiring and features the uplifting vocals of Emmanuel Sugo and ethereal synth melodies over fervid rhythms - in other words, this track is guaranteed to jam-pack the floor. On remix duty are DJ Thes-Man who contributes an utterly deep'n'moody somewhat dark rendition, and Paul Solaris & LSDI whose energetic remix is perfect for prime time play. South Africa's Knate Koti (aka Areipeleng Mogomotsi Mona) graces us with the wicked "718 Unknown Street" EP loaded with three stellar old school inspired deep house productions oozing with a blissful laidback vibe. The truly hypnotizing "Heal this world" by Myles Bigelow is all about the infectious percussive rhythms, mesmerizing synth hooks and catchy male vocals.
