In the Spotlight: Kojo Akusa "Floating EP" (Peng Records CD Promo)

Kojo Akusa has always been one of Andy Compton's favorite producers from South Africa, in 2011 he had his track "Hey" featured on the seminal "Silulu Vol. 1" compilation released through Peng Africa, then in 2013 a remix package of the song followed. Now Kojo Akusa returns to Peng with the expertly crafted "Floating EP" featuring five equally dazzling productions, each one oozing with his beloved truly unique afro house sound which is soulful and as deep as it gets - referring to it as afro-deep wouldn't do proper justice, cosmic-deep is a way more appropriate way of describing it. Four out of the five tracks on this EP features wonderful collaborations with vocalists Ladybird, Nutownsoul, K-Modi and Airily.
