In March, DJ/producer DJ Pope and vocalist Adrian Blu gave us the splendiferous "The sun", now they return with a sparkling four-to-the-floor remake of Herbie Hancock's 1980 classic "Stars in your yes" (with Ollie Wright on keys). The main mixes laced with lush keys, a ruthlessly thumpin' backing and the unmistakable deep-rooted vocals of Adrian Blu stay true and respectful to the original, while the alternate mixes are a modern re-imagination fueled with luxurious jazzy keys, classy horns and spell binding percussive rhythms.

The original version of "So satisfied" by legendary Keith Nunally was released back in March on the "Quantize Miami Sampler 2017", now we can enjoy a grandiose interpretation by DJ Pope (to be found on "Quantize Quintessentials Volume 12 compiled and mixed by DJ Pope") who transforms this glorious slab of classic soulful house into an intriguing contemporary soul oozing gem fusing Keith Nunally's one-of-a-kind passionate vocals with sublime jazzed-up keys, celestial chords and an infectious organic backdrop.

It is always a pleasure to listen to and review a new release on D#Sharp Records as this label is all about quality...
