Back in 1975, Ronnie Laws began his solo career with the album "Pressure sensitive" which yielded his most famous instrumental song "Always there." The song became an instant jazz-funk classic, covered by numerous artists such as Side Effect (Fantasy Records, 1976), Charvoni (Capitol/Syncopate Records, 1989) and Incognito (Talkin' Loud Records, 1991) to name just a few. Now we can enjoy a fabulous cover of this unforgettable classic by 4th Quarter Music and songstress Barbara Douglas. First up we have Frank 'Frankstar' Blythe's amazing truly uplifting and modern re-imagination perfectly showcasing the powerhouse vocals of Barbara Douglas.
