The inspiring "Take me (mind, body & soul)" by Swiss duo Soulstar Syndicate (aka Akri Jr. and Claudio Di Carlo) originally released seven years ago (complete with stellar remixes by Sean McCabe) returns in fresh remixes by Demarkus Lewis who takes the track to a whole new level, fusing the unmistakable uplifting vocals by legendary house diva Dawn Tallman with inebriant keys, ethereal chords and utterly spell binding deepened rhythms - undoubtedly Demarkus Lewis remix is guaranteed to cast a spell on you... Completing the package is Sean McCabe's fervid 'Street Dub Mix' from the original release.

In May of last year, TR Records gave us "New day" by Klevakeys, a glamorous old school inspired production featuring the inimitable sultry vocals of Liz Jay alongside grand jazzy keys and lush chords over gentle yet spell binding rhythms, now the label presents slammin' remixes by Tony Vee taking you back in time with their exhilarating 90's inspired vibe. To make it short, Tony Vee's 'OverDub Vocal Remix' stays true to the original, while the 'NuDub Remix' gives the track a tantalizing underground-esque feel.

Afro House Pick: Mabiisi "King" (MoBlack Records CD Promo)

Mabiisi is the natural artistic encounter between acclaimed Burkinabe MC Art Melody and Stevo Atambire, one of the most influential kologo musicians of Ghana. Their song "King" got released through Akwaaba Music last year, now MoBlack Records have licensed this genuine truly incredible song and commissioned Sobek and Chris Deepak with remixes. Both stay true to the spirit of the original, with Sobek giving the song a verily hypnotizing afro-tek feel, while Chris Deepak reworked the song into a resistless afro-tribal infused affair. Quite simply you can't resist to dance to these stunning remixes...

Traxx Pick #2: Urbe Deep Connextions featuring S. Dionigi Pala "Slave to the groove" (2elle Records CD Promo)

Urbe Deep Connextions return to 2elle Records with the follow up to their hit single "A latin thing" released in fall of last year. To cut right to the chase, the new track entitled "Slave to the groove" is an intriguing fusion of a contaminous deep house groove with old school disco/funk inspired elements, empyreal chords and mind-boggling saxophone by Simone Dionigi Pala.
