Japan's DJ Namy (aka Yutaka Takanami) makes his debut on Global Diplomacy Productions with "Lift me away", a beautiful sun drenched production featuring the stunning sultry vocals of Miwa alongside grand jazzy piano and luscious chords over a smoothly groovin' backing. N'Dinga Gaba contributes an utterly mesmerizing rework on an enticing deep yet truly soulful and melodious tip, and Kentaro Takizawa serves a tougher tech infused workout perfect for prime time play and bigger rooms.

Andy Compton featuring Celestine "River of love" (Peng Records CD Promo)

The latest offering from Andy Compton is the sure-fire dance floor weapon "River of love" using deep ruthlessly thumpin' rhythms as playground for tantalizing melodies and the marvelous gospel tinged vocals of Bristol soul diva Celestine - sheer dance floor heat. The 'Sax Dub' replaces the vocals with an outstanding saxophone by maestro James Morton, and finally for the purists, an instrumental version is included too.

Angelo Draetta featuring Alessandra Valenzano "Sunset EP" (HSR Records CD Promo)

The "Sunset EP" by Angelo Draetta includes two equally great productions, both featuring the beautiful haunting vocals of Alessandra Valenzano. "See it through" is on a rather laidback tip, with the vocals being accompanied by dulcet rhythms and lovely jazzy keys, while the more energetic "Shine" is built around a fervid funked-up groove and ravishing keys harmonizing perfectly with the vocals.

Kutlwano Moloele returns to 4th Quarter Music under his well known Rhythmikay disguise with "I just wanna stomp my feet", an uplifting production guaranteed to jam-pack the floor thanks to rousing afrocentric rhythms, wicked keys, lush melodious chords and uber cool inspiring vocals. Afro Deep Pick: SoulPoizen & Soule Villain "Gifted" (Herbs & Soul Music CD Promo)

South Africa's Nkosingiphile 'SoulPoizen' Ngiba and Sakhile 'Soule Villain' Ntombela grace us with an EP loaded with nothing but the best in unadulterated afro-deepness. First up is the title track "Gifted" spreading a hypnotizing feel through enchanting atmospheric synths and relentless afrotastic rhythms. Next is the spiritual "Underground politix" featuring gorgeous flute by Sonwabile 'Sobz' Gxabana and heavenly melodies over gentle afro-percussive rhythms. Lats but not least, there is "Herbal gathering" an arresting afro-tribal monster laced with phat synths that is raw and downright exhilarating.

Traxx Pick #1: Randomized Coffee "Agboho" (Sunclock Records CD Promo)

Randomized Coffee aka Massimiliano Troiani and Tommaso Checchi present "Agboho", an ingenious production oozing with a very unique and multi-influenced sound. The latin inspired summery original version features sweet guitars, classy trumpet and illustrious keys over an infectious funktified percussive backdrop. Pablo Martinez gives the track a samba-esque feel on his tribaltastic workout, and N'Dinga Gaba Remix takes the track to deeper grounds on his atmospheric rework. Pure fiyah...

Traxx Pick #2: Monodeluxe "Soul frequencies" (Vibe Boutique Records CD Promo)

Alessandro Oliviero aka Monodeluxe blesses us with the truly eclectic "Soul frequencies" EP bringing a modern and refreshing house music sound to the dance floor.
