The second new release from legendary New Generation Records for this week is the wicked "Mendwana" by Jerzey Kings. Jazzanova "Another new day" (Kid Fonque Refix) (Sonar Kollektiv Promo)

Critically acclaimed Berlin-based collective Jazzanova continues the celebration of the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut album "In between" with the launch of a brand-new remix series. The inaugural release in the series is Kid Fonque^s ingenious re-imagination of "Another new day" taking the the track to a whole new dimension, layering intriguing deeper than deep grooves and entrancing textures to create an indisputably mesmerizing deep house gem.

Pour le Connaisseur: David Morales "Brooklyn friends" (DIRIDIM Promo)

House music royalty David Morales graces us with something truly special with his latest offering, the glorious three track "Brooklyn friends" EP (to be released on Bandcamp next week). Together with renowned musicians Axel Tosca (keys), Steve Thornton (percussion) and Slick Tim (bass), David Morales has been pulling out all the stops to deliver three mind-boggling tracks oozing with authentic latin and jazzy sun drenched vibes and catchy vocal chants that are sure to cast a spell on you.

Muzungu & Katerina "You" (Category 1 Music)

Greek production duo Muzungu (Iraklis Verdi and Konstantinos Theodoropoulos) return to Category 1 Music with "You", a scintillating collaboration with vocalist Katerina. Their original version featuring the incomparable emotive vocals of Katerina alongside classy jazzy keys, celestial pads, grand saxophone and smoothly thumpin' rhythms is downright hypnotic.... On remix duty is Demarkus Lewis who adds his signature underground-esque touch to take the track to the next level.

Michael Jackson "Rock with you" (Guido P Rock Da House Bootleg) (Promo)

Back in February of this year, Italian DJ/producer Guido P graced us with a scintillating four-to-the-floor re-imagination of The Police classic "When the world is running down", now he is back with a rework of Michael Jackson's 1979 all-time classic "Rock with you". Without question, Guido P's splendid re-interpretation stays true to the spirit of the original yet oozes with a contemporary soulful house vibe sure to get your feet movin'.

Traxx Pick: Shur-I-Kan & Fred Everything "Composition X" (Lazy Days Recordings Promo)

We are closing this weeks update with an incredible slice of deepness, "Composition X" by Shur-I-Kan (Tom Sirztes) and Fred Everything coming soon to Lazy Days Recordings. Beyond any doubt, "Composition X" featuring inebriant chord progressions and tantalizing strings over inexorably pulsating rhythms is guaranteed to send the dancers into a frenzy...
