Back in February 2015, we were celebrating "In the wrong" by Lee Van Kleef aka the duo of Lee Gomes and Lee Robinson a masterly crafted production featuring vocalist Lifford Shillingford. Now this soulful gem returns in a superb interpretation by DJ Beloved who combines the the inimitable deeply rooted vocals of Lifford Shillingford with sublime jazzy keys, great guitar and smooth yet intriguing rhythms.

Antonio Lyons "My Africa" (Nitefreak Afro Buzz Dub)(Grooveland Records Promo)

Grooveland Records (in conjunction with Khaya Lyf) are preparing a remix package of Antonio Lyons beloved classic cut "My Africa" tentatively scheduled for a July release (the original version can be found on his album "We dance we pray" released beginning of 2012 on Soul Candi Records), as a taster they sent out the verily hypnotizing afro-tech dub workout by Zimbabwean producer Nitefreak fueled with inebriant synth melodies and inexorable truly deep rhythms.

Keep your eyes open for this formidable truly faithful four-to-the-floor remake of "Un amore da favola" (a song by Italian singer Giorgia taken from her 1997 album "Mangio troppa cioccolata") by Steven Stone and Little D. Most certainly this gorgeous sun drenched cover version featuring the wonderful vocals of Daniela Sarda, exquisite keys, lovely guitar and glamorous brass over a smooth yet captivating organic backdrop is not to be missed...
