When Tribe Records released Timmy Regisford's massive "At the Club" album at the beginning of 2011, the title track which features sultry vocals by Lynn Lockamy had already become a club anthem. Later in September of the same year, superb remixes by Da Capo, Rocco and DJ Mbuso were released, which were followed in May of this year by stunning remixes by France's Claude Monnet. The saga of this epic club track continue as the label now gives us fabulous new interpretations by Sean McCabe who graces us with another one of his compelling truly soulicious funk infused remixes, turning the track into an all time classic guaranteed to be heard in clubs for years to come.

Swift featuring Theo Lawson "Afro hard" (Tribe Records CD Promo)

Finally this amazing afrotastic gem (a secret weapon here at Spirit of House since the Winter Music Conference 2012) is getting a well deserved release. "Afro hard" by Ruben 'Swift' Vidal uses absolutely resistless afro percussive rhythms as playground for Theo Lawson's one-of-a-kind African vocals and luscious keys, altogether spreading a contaminous vibe you can't resist to dance. On remix duty is FTL (Jeremias Santiago) whose masterly crafted truly mind-blowing rework is the perfect choice for those deeper moments of the night.

Circle of Funk featuring Lifford Shillingford & Natasha Watts "Double trouble" (Slapped Up Soul CD Promo)

What an incredible slice of soulfulness we have here courtesy of Circle of Funk who join forces with Lifford Shillingford and Natasha Watts for "Double trouble", a wonderful production oozing with nothing but soul. In other words, the emotive vocals by Lifford Shillingford and Natasha Watts combined with enticing melodies and gently bubbling rhythms are guaranteed make you yearn for more... The 'More Trouble Mix' slightly turns up the heat, giving the song a lovely old school inspired boogie-esque feel, while Wipe the Needle contribute a gorgeous interpretation oozing with a sublime deep flavor perfect for late night, early morning play.

This song from 1976 features the memorable vocal line "I get a feeling (that's so divine)" which is worked to full effect on this track by Boy Orlando (we are sure you know who is behind this alias).
