Mind Street featuring Karl the Voice "24 on 7" (KingStreet Records CD Promo)

French production outfit Mind Street are back with a beautiful collaboration with Karl the Voice entitled "24 on 7". The original version uses relentlessly thumpin' rhythms, splendorous keys and the one-of-a-kind emotive vocals of Karl the Voice to spread a mesmerizing feel you can't resist to dance to. On remix duty are DJ Spinna who is pulling out all the stops on his masterly crafted re-imagination oozing with his beloved 'galactic soul' sound, and Namy who delivers a superb laidback soul/funk infused interpretation. Finally there is an incredible fully live version included.

Fantasy "Blame it" (New Generation Records CD Promo)

The next release on legendary New Jersey house/garage music label New Generation Records comes from he mind of Fantasy aka Marco A. Berry who presents "Blame it", an unadulterated slice of underground house music where Fantasy's sultry vocals are accompanied by enchanting melodies and deeper than deep utterly thrilling rhythms. Beside the original version, the package features massive remixes from Shino Blackk, DJ Ceez, June Lopez, Ricci Melillo and Black Jean & Cavo deep all adding their signature deep/soulful touch, giving you plenty of choices to work the floor.

Luyo & Marco Finotello featuring Mr. Shy "Cloud nine" (Double Cheese Records CD Promo)

Italy's Federico Luyo and Marco Finotello team up with New York based Mr. Shy to bless us with a magnificent remake of The Temptations classic soul anthem "Cloud nine". Their glorious funk/jazz soaked original version preserves the unmistakable vibe from the Norman Whitfield produced 1968 original Temptations version yet giving the remake an uplifting contemporary feel. Opolopo contributes the remix, taking the song to deepest Detroit inspired soul-tech territory with his dazzling vocal and dub remixes.

We proudly introduce you to two exclusives from the Neal Conway camp scheduled for release in a couple of weeks. First up is a brand new tantalizing old school infused interpretation by Neal Conway of Dana Weaver's beautiful "Fading away" which has been picked up by UK based label Makin' Moves who will release it together with other yet to be disclosed remixes. Second is Hakeem Syrbram's delectable soul oozing and utterly melodious 4/4 rework of the gorgeous soul jewel "Stop & go" by Dana Weaver (taken from "Spring, Summer Feeling 2013" released through Urban Retro Music Group in May of last year) forthcoming on "In the Zone Remixes 2014 Vol. 2".

Groove Junkies "Sinead's war" (MoreHouse Records CD Promo)

Some of you may remember Irish songstress/activist Sinead O'Connor's memorable (and controversial) live performance of Bob Marley song "War" acapella on Saturday Night Live. Groove Junkies front man Evan Landes has created an amazing truly inspirational four-to-the-floor re-imagination of Haile Selassie's (also known as Ras Tafari) timeless message of peace, combining Sinead O'Connor's brilliant haunting performance with ethereal keys, catchy hooks and infectious deeply pulsating rhythms.

Back in March of this year, FOMP graced us with "Speak to me", fabulous slice of soul oozing afro-deepness produced by South Africa's Vilo which is performed in grand style by Brie Boateng. Now this beauty returns in phenomenal new interpretations by Jonny Miller who goes as deep as it gets on his dreamy rework laced with heavenly melodies and inexorably thumpin' rhythms, and Trinidadian Deep takes the track to a whole new level on his pulsative rendition which uses percussive rhythms as playground for the vocals and luscious keys.

Since formed in 1979, Kassav' created its own style 'zouk' by experimenting an eleven-piece gwo ka unit and two lead singers, tambour bele, ti bwa, biguine, African styles and mostly cadence or compas with full use of the MIDI technology. Kassav' are very popular in Africa, what better than enlisting African house music artists remixing one of their songs for the dance floor... The chosen ones are Effort Gashu & Kead Wikead from Zimbabwe and Deep Suite, Michael Ashe and C-Major (SA) all from South Africa - to cut a long story short, they all add their distinctive afro/afro-deep/soulful touch to the song, making it next to impossible to pick a favorite version from this stellar truly eclectic seletion of re-imaginations.
