T-Kolai "Zouk" (The Remixes Part 2) (ChilliFunk Records Promo)
The original version of "Zouk" by T-Kolai (taken from the album "Teak all eye" released in 2003) is an inspired fusion of jazz, soul and African rhythms. Earlier this year, ChilliFunk Records graced us with the first part of remixes by the ChilliFunk Allstars (aka Rude Boy Rupert, Tom Davidson and Lofty) and L+T Project, now the second part of remixes has arrived. Next to the original version, you get a masterful broken beat rework as well as the legendary unquestionably vibrant yet soulful afro house interpretations by Restless Soul that stood the test of time.
SuSu Bobien "How I got over" (Shino Blackk That Mercy Dub) (New Generation Records Promo)
Back in August of this year, we introduced you to the paramount undeniably uplifting DJ Pope produced gospel house jewel "How I got over" by legendary gospel and house music diva SuSu Bobien. Now the track returns for another round of dance floor domination in this fervid dub rework by Shino Blackk who combines SuSu Bobien's unrivaled gospel infused powerhouse vocals with churchy keys and downright inexorable underground-esque rhythms.
Dam Swindle & Arnold Jarvis "Special kind of love" (KingStreet Records Promo)
Turn back the clock to late 2000 when KingStreet Records released the Benji Candelario produced soulful anthem "Special kind of love" laced with the unequaled sultry vocals of Arnold Jarvis (legendary Jazz'N'Groove contributed the remixes). Fast forward to present day, and Dam Swindle (the duo of Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets) rework this gem into soulful yet lively contemporary prime time weapon sure to set the dance floor ablaze.
Terrae Musiq Vybe "Terrae'" (Vincent Ache' Remix) (CyberJamz Records Promo)
In late September of this year, we featured "Terrae" a timeless soulful jewel produced by Italian DJ/producer Andrea Curato, with the lyrics written and performed in grand style by Terrae Musiq Vybe. Forthcoming to prolific Open Bar Music in the near future are these excellent remixes of "Rise & shine" by DJmiketbrown (Michael T Brown) taken from his full length album "The loft" released in July of this year. South African DJ and producer Kabelo MG Koma, also known as Problem Child Ten83, is about to grace us with the "6Gunn" EP to be available digitally in around two weeks, with vinyl following in early 2026. The a-side features the title track "6Gunn" and "Lathe chase" two equally dope late night dub-inspired deep house cuts sure to get your feet movin'. The cherry on top are the“6Gunn” remixes by Jan Kincl oozing with an undeniably mesmerizing late night vibe.
