In anticipation of the sixth volume in the "Soulful House Journey" series compiled and mixed by Parisian deep house master DJ Yass, KingStreet Records present this truly wicked sampler loaded with an eclectic six track selection which includes exclusive and brand new edits by DJ Yass of club anthems such as "Most precious love" by Blaze presents UDAUFL featuring Barbara Tucker, "Light in my window" by Francesco Aquilanti featuring Sandra St.Victor, "Callin' you lord" by Johnny Dangerous featuring Kenny Bobien and his very own soulful classic "Bring it up" featuring Inaya Day. Also included are the deep tech original "Bedbugz" by ChrisB and the hard hitting "Live for the funk" by Benjamin Shock.

Luyo & Vittorio Santorelli present Sabrina Chyld "The weekend" (Double Cheese Records CD Promo)

Quite simply, this is another killer release from Double Cheese Records who have been going from strength to strength all year long... Label head Luyo and DJ/producer Vittorio Santorelli team up with songstress Sabrina Chyld for "The weekend", a grandiose production combining Sabrina Chyld's distinctive expressive vocals with an infectious funked-up organic backdrop and luscious keys - sheer musical bliss. The 'Deep Vision Mix' is laced with celestial melodies and gives the song an exhilarating deep touch, Dave Doyle serves a sumptuous classic rework perfect for peak time, and finally Spellband transform the song into an enchanting afro-deep gem guaranteed to jam-pack the floor.

Soledrifter featuring Ryan Holliday "Turn away" (Duffnote Records CD Promo)

The latest offering on Duffnote Records is courtesy of Dmitry Meshcheryakov, better known as Soledrifter, who joins forces with singer Ryan Holliday for "Turn away", a glorious production built around a smooth yet relentlessly thumpin' backing, ethereal keys and chords, sweet guitar and not to forget to mention the passionate vocals by Ryan Holliday. On remix duty is Pasha NoFrost who contributes an utterly hypnotizing deepened version perfect for late night play.

From P60 featuring Jaidene Veda "Softly" (Do It Now Recordings CD Promo)

The beautiful "Softly" is the first official single taken from from Jaidene Veda's forthcoming and long awaited full length album "Wanderlust" to be released in 2015. Produced by Zoltan 'From P60' Nagy, "Softly" is a splendiferous laidback deep house gem oozing with an enticing feel created by gentle rhythms, dreamy melodies and Jaidene Veda's unmistakable sultry vocals. From P60's lively 'Headloop Remix' is a thrilling late night affair, Forteba deliver a glamorous yet tantalizing deep rendition, and last but not least Jaidene Veda graces us with a marvelous jazz infused re-imagination of the original.

Mustafa & Sunlightsquare featuring Tasita D'Mour "Never stop loving you" (Part 2)(Staff Productions CD Promo)

This gorgeous slice of soulful heaven by Mustafa, Sunlightsquare and songstress Tasita D'Mour was originally reviewed here on Spirit of House back in July of this year, now part two loaded with fresh remixes has landed. First up is a fabulous spiced-up rework of the original which takes Tasita D'Mour's unrivaled vocals and the masterly organic orchestration which includes a magnificent horn section to a whole new level. Next, Carl 'IndySoul' Guerard drops a juicy utterly melodious and mesmerizing deepened interpretation, and finally Steven Mestre turns the heat up for prime time play.

Bhunu Brill & San Diano featuring Man V "Uthando"  (Part 2)(Afrocentrik Musik CD Promo)

Part one of the magnificent "Uthando" by Bhunu Brill and San Diano was released last year in September on Skalla Records, now Afrocentrik Musik bring us fresh interpretations of this beauty which features the seductive vocal stylings of Man V. Carl 'IndySoul' Guerard, DeepLand and Loxiondeep are the chosen one to add their magical touch to the song, giving you the tough choice between three equally magnificent deep soul drenched re-imaginations. Essential.

Vicky Martin "The bitch in me" (Open Bar Music CD Promo)

"The bitch in me" by legendary house music vocalist Vicky Martin premiered earlier this year (in March to be precise) on Open Bar Music's eclectic "Ocean Drive Sessions: 2014" compilation, now we can enjoy the track in its full glory complete with stellar remixes. The original version is deep and mesmerizing, with enthralling pulsating rhythms leading the way for Vicky Martin's one-of-a-kind emotive vocals and lush keys. The remixes are courtesy of Benny T, Hood Natives, Melvesant and Mzala Wa Afrika all adding their soulful deep/afro touch, making it next to impossible to pick a favorite version.

Michael Ashe "I don't know" (Deeper Shades Recordings CD Promo)

Deeper Shades Recordings present the jaw-dropping "I don't know" by South African producer/vocalist Michael Ashe, a song guaranteed to put a spell on you through the expertly fusion of deep'n'gentle yet contaminous rhythms with heavenly chords, sublime jazzy keys and Michael Ashe's inimitable heartfelt vocals. In other word, soulful deep house music at its best.

Haldo & Fabrizio Marra featuring Stephanie Cooke "Fall in love" (Rebus Records CD Promo)

Haldo and Fabrizio Marra, two of Italy's finest house music producers, join forces with house music diva Stephanie Cooke for "Fall in love", a truly gorgeous slice of soul oozing goodness. The 'Deep Mix' is all about the dreamy melodies, deep dulcet rhythms and of course Stephanie Cooke's incomparable deeply rooted vocals. The 'Jazzy Mix' is a luxurious jazz infused interpretation, Odo Makes a Smile contributes a superb organic rendition oozing with a charming melodious feel, and lastly Francesco Cofano adds his beloved soulful touch to the song.

Giulio Bonaccio featuring Melonie Daniels & David Walker "One more time" (BCRMusic CD Promo)

Giulio Bonaccio's uplifting "One more time" is a marvelous slice of classic vocal house music featuring dazzling emotive vocals by Melonie Daniels and Daniel Walker alongside grand jazzy piano and lovely guitar over an infectious backdrop. Both the duo of Soulbridge & Guido P and Federico D'Alessio introduce a classy saxophone and add their signature soul/funk infused touch on their stunning interpretations to take the song to the next level. Undoubtedly a future soulful house music classic...

Afro Deep Pick #1: Deeprebel "Shapes of Deep EP" (Deeprebel Music CD Promo)

Not many words are needed to describe the "Shapes of Deep EP" by South Africa's Deeprebel (Trevor Mahlangu) which includes four masterly crafted instrumental productions, each of them oozing with a beautiful laidback vibe created by gentle yet spell binding afrocentric rhythms and enticing keys and chords. Nuff said.

Afro Deep Pick #2: XtetiQsoul "Orchestrate EP" (Iklwa Brothers Music CD Promo)

From XtetiQsoul comes the "Orchestrate EP" which features the track "Orchestrate" in four different flavors. First up is the melancholic laidback 'Original Mix', next we have the utterly hypnotizing 'Main Mix' which is followed by Infected Soul's phantasmagorical deeply rumblin' 'Soul Voyage Mix'. Last but not least, thee package features an empyreal tribal-tastic workout by Sixnautic.
