Back in 2008, Smooth Agent released their "WMC 2008 Sampler" including "Exotic erotic" by Sean Smith and Arnaud The Crazy Frenchman, a deep yet fiercely thumpin' track featuring classy strings and infectious synths altogether creating a hypnotic feeling. The track finally gets a full single release, complete with remixes by Alton Miller, Soul Secured and Pete Defeat all adding their signature deep touch to take the track the next level. Also included is the bonus track "Philly Disco Sound", a slice of disco/funk inspired feel good house guaranteed to rock the floor.
Rocco featuring Kafele "It's over" (Original Mix)(Baainar Records CD Promo)
Rocco and Kafele join forces to give us "It's over", an awe-inspiring jazz inspired four-to-the-floor jewel using smooth yet thrilling percussive rhythms as foundation for sublime jazzy keys, luxurious trumpet and deeply rooted vocals. To cut a long story short, "It's over" is sheer musical bliss, a masterpiece having timeless written all over. By no means to be missed. Nuff said.

Here we have the first single release taken from Solid Ground's essential "2013 Miami Sampler", the beautiful "Facade" by Neil Thompson and songstress Nicole Mitchell. The 'Smooth Mix' is a gorgeous laidback affair oozing with delectable melodies and smooth organic rhythms, not to forget to mention the deeply felt vocals by Nicole Mitchell. The remixes are courtesy of Will 'ReelSoul' Rodriguez, DeepCitySoul and Danny Clark all adding their distinctive deep/soulful touch, giving you a hard time picking a favorite version...
Tikki Tembo featuring Diamondancer "Return to me" (Solid Ground Recordings CD Promo)
There ain't no stoppin' for Solid Ground as they give us the second bomb in a weeks time in form of this spoken word gem by Tikki Tembo featuring poet/songwriter/artist Carolyn 'Diamondancer 'Ferrari. "Return to me" features the inimitable lyricism of Diamondancer alongside heavenly melodies over contaminous deeply thumpin' rhythms, with the 'NuDiMix' giving the track a seminal Nu-Disco outfit. On remix duty are Dave Mayer, James Dexter and DeepCitySoul who give us the hard choice between three equally massive deep interpretation... A sure-fire floor anthem.

Super Soul Music are back with yet another timeless soulful gem titled "Come on over" courtesy of SuperSoul (aka Jonathan Meyer & Fabio Verardo) and vocalist Miss D. The marvelous 'Original Mix' oozing with a fierce 70's inspired soul/funk vibe is sheer musical bliss - just listen to the wicked guitar, classy hammond, infectious rhythms and Miss D passionate vocals - a match made in heaven. The 'Club Mix' turns up the heat for prime time play with energetic rhythms and enthralling synth melodies, while the 'Deep Mix' takes the track to deepest territory, with a stormin' backdrop leading the way for the vocals and ethereal melodies.

It has been a long time since we last heard from Stacey Mallory, thankfully his three years hiatus is over - and believe us, he is back stronger than ever... First up we have "Magic synth" which combines grand jazzy keys and classic strings with celestial synths and smooth yet infectious rhythms into a dazzling dance floor extravaganza - absolutely wicked. Next is "Latin Moods", a latin/jazz infused track oozing with wonderful jazzy keys, masterly guitar and driving organic rhythms which altogether spread an irresistible feel-good vibe you can't resist to dance to. Last but not least, the magnificent "Tru love" returns, a song produced and mixed by Stacey Mallory and performed by Ty Black in grand style, originally released back in 2007 on Jellybean Soul Recordings. This time around, Stacey Mallory graces us with his phenomenal previously unheard remixes which are by no means to be missed by any lover of real soulful house music.

Once again, Tony Records open their precious vaults to bless us with an impeccable selection of gems aptly titled "Miami Uncuts 2013", and similar to its predecessor from last year,this collection is a real delight for any lover of soul drenched dance music. Quite simply, this is an amazing package featuring nothing but previously unreleased versions, many of which have been secret weapons which rocked Tony Humphries' sets for the past few months. Lots of gems to discover, always soulful yet with enough energy to rock the floor no matter small or big. There are simply to many to mention, so we concentrate on our favorites: the sun drenched truly uplifting 'Mark Di Meo & Tony Loreto Unreleased Hump Mix' of "Universal dreamers" by Ricky Diciotto & Kenny Carpenter featuring Wendy Lewis, the utterly soulful 'Souldynamic NJ Mix' of "Love" by Souldynamic featuring Angela Johnson, and the delicious old skool inspired deep house jewel "Devotion" by Pako Di Rocco & Roby Maas.

The exquisite "U can't bring me down" features the unrivaled gospel tinged vocals of Biblical Jones alongside a masterly orchestration (including a reminiscence to Philly Disco), with Neal Conway pulling out all the stops on the arrangement and production - truly a masterpiece.

Namy repeatedly impressed us over the past few months with his stunning collaborations with Barbara Tucker, Josh Milan and Monday Michiru, and he continues to do so with his latest offering "I'm not ashamed (I need you)" which features the incomparable sultry vocals of Stephanie Cooke and delectable over smoothly bouncin' rhythms. The remixes are courtesy of DJ Meme who gives the song a groovy sun drenched feel, and Groove Assassin who somewhat intensifies the vibe to turn the song into an uplifting peak time favorite. Don't miss to check his utterly fierce dub guaranteed to send the crowd into a frenzy.
DJ Thes-Man featuring Layla Jayne "Estranged" (Sandisco Recordings CD Promo)
JoBurg's DJ Thes-Man is back on Sandisco Recordings with "Estranged", a slice of top notch underground-esque house from the motherland. The truly mesmerizing "Estranged" features an enthralling vocal performance by Layla Jayne and celestial atmospheric synth melodies over deep afro-centric rhythms - in other words, this jaw-dropping deep house gem is by no means to be missed.
Meital De Razon & Asi Tal "In love again" (Suntree Records CD Promo)
Right in time for the upcoming spiring and summer seasons comes this beautiful sun drenched production by vocalist Meital de Razon and Asi Tal. Meital De Razon's heartfelt vocals combined with a masterly orchestration which includes a charming guitar, warm melodious keys and smooth laidback rhythms make this the perfect soundtrack for those hot summer nights. Oded Nir further relaxes the vibe on his superb interpretation oozing with a grandiose loungy feel, Steven Stone contributes a spell binding rework laced with phat keys and stabs perfect for peak time, and finally Steve More & Mark Masters take the song to the bigger floor with their energetic remix.

Italian sound designer/producer Marco Finotello returns to Favouritizm with "Get carried away", a wonderful love song featuring enchanting vocals by Sandy Spady alongside heavenly keys, lovely guitar and stunning saxophone over an organic funk drenched backdrop. Not to forget to mention the sublime 'Chill Out Mix' which puts the emphasis on the vocals and saxophone.
DJ Punch & Flip Entertainment featuring Andrew Hogan "Baby Powder Traxx EP Vol. 3" (CyberJamz Records CD Promo)
We've been all over the previous two volumes of the "Baby Powder Traxx EP", now volume three is here and we have to admit we're all over it again... DJ Punch teams up with Flip Entertainment and Andrew Hogan to bless with amazing four-to-the-floor reworking of unforgettable classics by Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Curtis Mayfield, a stellar re-rub of "Melting pot" by Booker T & the MG's, and then there "Punch bass", a fourteen minute long underground-esque extravaganza featuring a killer organ ride over a deeper than deep truly contaminous backdrop.

We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene). However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section to highlight other noteworthy releases...
Lu Le Funk & Sax Attack give us the wicked "High volume", a mid-tempo production on a laidback tip oozing with a gorgeous saxophone and deep mellow backdrop. The remix is courtesy of Italy's Sartarelli who graces us with an eclectic thirteen minute up-tempo disco/funk inspired excursion (Drum Records CD Promo). The "Jazz Tale EP" by Deep'n Soul BR (a project formed by Marcos Skin and Ico Bastos) features two equally fantastic jazz inspired productions, both of which are laced with glamorous keys and driven by infectious rhythms (Grooveland Music CD Promo).
Ciappy DJ & Davide Murri's beautiful sun drenched, latin flavored "Winds of Victoria" (the tenor sax played by Fabrizio Scarafile comes straight from heaven) was originally released back in summer of 2008 and now returns in superb remixes by Spiritual Blessings, Deep Y'All, Abicah Soul and DeepCitySoul (Gotta Keep Faith Records CD Promo). We're closing this weeks update with a spellbinding four-to-the-floor rework of "The glow of love" by Full Flava featuring Donna Gardier by Luis Radio & Spellband guaranteed to jam-pack floors (CD-R).
