There ain't no stopping for Lilac Jeans and their Lilac Jeans Music label. There are a lot of exciting projects to look out for in the future, including this collaboration with songstress Kele B entitled "C.c.c" previously only available on DJ Nana's "Nightology 2". The main version of "C.c.c" is on a deep laidback tip, with mellow rhythms leading the way for Kele B's amazing haunting vocals and etheral keys and chords. The 'Club Mix' gives the track a fierce feel sure to rock the floor, with thumpin' rhythms serving as playground for the vocals and enchanting melodies.
Dawn Souluvn Williams "Live love laugh" (Adam Rios Remix)(New Generation Records CD Promo)
Legendary New Jersey based house music label New Generation Records are back with this marvelous Adam Rios remix of the Phunk Farmers Music produced "Live love laugh" which is performed in grand style by the one and only Dawn Souluvn Williams (the original release dates back to fall 2010, later in 2010 a massive remix package followed). Adam Rios adds his beloved signature touch, combining the mind-blowing vocals with glorious keys and spell binding yet smooth rhythms - top-notch soulful house music...
Tom Conrad, Andre Bonsor, Mr V & Miss Patty "Sign of the times" (Remixes)(Adaptation Music CD Promo)
In mid-December of last year, Adaptation Music graced us with "Sign of the times", a musical gem by Tom Conrad and Andre Bonsor who teamed up with Mr V and Miss Patty, now we can enjoy a stellar remix package taking this wicked track to a whole new level. The labels latest offering is the fantastic "I can feel it" by David Maslo and Che Cherry which comes in an amazing selection of eclectic interpretations. Steve Paradise original production is on a wonderful soul/funk inspired classic tip, with Che Cherry's delightful emotive vocals being accompanied by grand jazzy sax, delectable keys and and infectious funktified backing. Fans of Shaun Escoffery had to wait seven years for his new album "The red room" which is forthcoming this autumn. The first single is "Nature's call" which comes complete with stunning dance floor friendly remixes by DJ Spinna who adds his signature 'Brooklyn House' flavor, Copyright who serve a deep hypnotizing tech infused workout, Idris Elba who drops an ingenious feel-good 'Ibiza Disco Mix', and Sir Piers who joins forces with Pedro Caldas for a breathtaking soul oozing deep entrancing interpretation laced with gorgeous keys - sheer musical bliss.

Alex Ander & Pete Simpson "Your freedom" (Purple Music CD Promo)
Portuguese/American DJ, producer and remixer Alex Ander teams up with renowned vocalist Pete Simpson for "Your freedom", an uplifting feel-good production which combines Pete Simpson's incomparable heartfelt vocals with an infectious funk soaked backing, sweet guitars and exquisite keys. Alex Ander's 'Motown Classic Mix' gives the song a classy old school feel, Antony Fennel contributes a hypnotically pulsating version perfect for peak time play, and both Ricky Inch and Carlos Vargas rework the song into grandiose soul/funk inspired affairs, making it next to impossible to pick a favorite version. Last but not least Carlos Vargas serves a jaw-dropping acoustic version.

Blade Deep (founder of JusVibe Records) and DJ Fale (member of the Hood Natives) join forces with singer/songwriter Komi Nkosi for "Wondering", a joyous sexy house music production with smooth yet spell binding rhythms leading the way for empyreal keys and Komi Nkosi deeply felt vocals. Included in the package are masterly crafted remixes by the likes of the Hood Natives, Luka and Boogie & Creso all keeping the vibe deep and soulful yet adding their unique touch.

Last year, Neal Conway blessed us with the masterly orchestrated "U can't bring me down" which features the unrivaled gospel tinged vocals of Biblical Jones, soon the song will return in a fresh 'Philly Intl. Classics WerkOWT' version which stays true to the original version yet gives the reminiscence to Philly Disco (we are talking about McFadden & Whitehead's unforgettable "Ain't no stopping us now") and the wicked guitar more room to breath. Best of the Rest
We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene). However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section where, every now and then, we will highlight other noteworthy releases...
To cut a long story short, "Sunshine over Rio" by Soulfuledge is a gorgeous soul drenched production laced with killer flute, cool vocal hooks and infectious percussive rhythms, altogether spreading an uplifting summery vibe guaranteed to make you yearn for more... Max Martinez presents the "Ode to 313" EP which features two marvelous old school flavored deep house cuts both taking you on an exhilarating journey to deepest territory. Also included is a superb remix by June Lopez of the title track (Plastik People CD Promo).
Phil Weeks is back with "It's the inside that counts", a rather minimalistic yet truly effective track built around a massive (and we mean massive) absolutely relentless bassline driven backing groove that is topped with a killer sample vocal from Loleatta Holloway's all-time classic "Dreaming". The bonus track "Another 303 groove" is in a similar vein - simplistic yet infectious and hypnotizing, featuring the classic 'Jack your body' vocal sample and reminiscences to the classic acid sound (Robsoul CD Promo).
