Bootleg Pick: Maynard Ferguson "Pagliacci" (The Groovin Beat Ensemble Restyle)(CD-R)

Courtesy of the The Groovin Beat Ensemble comes a superb four-to-the-floor re-imagination of the Disco-Jazz classic "Pagliacci" by Canadian jazz trumpeter and band-leader Maynard Ferguson (taken from this 1976 album "Primal scream") which stays true and respectful to the unique sound and orchestration of the original yet transforms the song into a fervid dance floor weapon.
