It is time again to bring you our choice selection of edits and (bootleg) remixes we got in the past few days and weeks... First up Soulplate give us their tribute to the late George Duke (rip) originally released back in 2001 under the moniker of Carlos Rodriguez, a delectable truly respectful four-to-the-floor rework of "Brazilian love affair" aptly titled titled "Sumer Brazil". Next Rightside and Soul'n'Vibes join forces to rework R. Kelly's wonderful "Love streets" (from his 2004 double-album "Happy people" / "U saved me") into an uplifting smoothly stompin' 4x4 affair which keeps the spirit of the original alive. Finally we have Manoli Manousakis with his seductive interpretation of Jill Scott's "Wanna be loved" turning the song into a deep utterly soulful house music gem.
