Back in 1993, Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez & 'Little' Louie Vega aka Masters at Work joined forced with India for "I can't get no sleep", a song nowadays considered one of the definitive house music records of all time. Fast forward to 2014, and we can enjoy an outstanding jazz/funk infused remake of this unforgettable classic by Niko M, DaSouL and songstress Mary R. Their re-imagination stays respectful to the original yet gives the song a contemporary utterly spell binging feel, with Mary R's stunning emotive vocals being accompanied by an infectious funked-up backing, grand sexy saxophone and lush keys.
