Sipho Ngubane "Mandeni vibes" (Soulful Sentiments Records CD Promo)

South African deep/soulful house music producer and Soulful Sentiments Records owner Sipho Ngubane pays tribute to Mandeni (a town in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa where he grew up) with the aptly titled "Mandeni vibes" EP which includes four stunning mid-tempo jewels. Each of these songs is masterly orchestrated, oozing with a blissful jazz infused vibe guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. Three songs are instrumentals, one of which features the beautiful guitar of Elliott Blacker, while the forth song features the entrancing deeply felt vocals of Soul Kid.

The first of two new releases this week featuring the unrivaled vocals of Phillip Ramirez is "Let love live" by Japanese DJ/producer DJ Hakuei. To cut right to the chase, "Let love live" is a spirited affair using a smooth yet irresistibly bouncin' organic backdrop as foundation for splendiferous keys, classy saxophone and Phillip Ramirez inimitable falsetto vocals, altogether spreading an enthralling feel you can't resist to dance to.

The energetic 90's house inspired "Reach" is the latest collaboration for Richard 'True2Life' Pring and singer Phillip Ramirez, following up their previous club hits "Sweet memories" from summer 2014 and "Light in my heart" from a few weeks back. In a nutshell, "Reach" fuses the inimitable falsetto vocals of legendary Phillip Ramirez with luscious keys and old skool flavored relentlessly pulsating' rhythms to create a sure-fire dance floor weapon. The remixes are courtesy of Demarkus Lewis who takes the track to deep'n'moody grounds on his truly hypnotizing workout, and label head Robert Rivera who drops a cool dub rework.

Tumelo "I fantasize" (Tribe Records CD Promo)

When the wonderful "I fantasize" by Tumelo was released on South Africa's Soulistic Music a while back, sadly it never got the attention it deserves. Thankfully, Tribe Records have licensed this gem and are about to re-release it complete with superb remixes. The original is uber soulful yet utterly mesmerizing, with gentle yet thrilling afro-tribal rhythms leading the way for illustrious keys and Tumelo's incomparable heartfelt vocals. Zepherin Saint gives the track a darker edgy twist that is verily hypnotizing, while Mark Francis serves a celestial interpretation on a vibrant soul infused tip.

Ryle featuring Gregers "Busy dreaming" (SedSoul Records CD Promo)

"Busy dreaming" is the third single taken from Ryle's highly acclaimed debut album "The adventures of Jefferson Keyes", featuring the unique vocal stylings of uprising Danish singer Gregers an the talkbox wizardry of Danish musician Jimmy Antony. "Busy dreaming" is one of the stand out songs from the album, beyond doubt this is a first-class old school Boogie/Soul/Funk inspired jewel by no means to be missed, not to forget to mention the dazzling remix contributed by Rob Hardt.

Most definitely, "It is what it is" by Rob Hayes is a mercilessly stompin' truly sexy jazz house cut laced with sublime keys, precious horns, lovely guitars and cool spoken vocals guaranteed to jam-pack the dance floor. Richard Earnshaw is on remix duty, adding his signature bouncy touch to give the track more of a laidback yet still truly captivating feel. Nuff said...
