The best of the rest...

We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene). However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section where, every now and then, we will highlight other noteworthy releases...

We are entering deepest territory with "States" by Jacob Bech, a truly seductive late night gem driven by hypnotizing deep rhythms which serve as foundation for magical atmospheric synth melodies and wicked vocal sprinkles. The 'Back Alley Dub' strips things back a bit and gives the track a slightly darker feel (Large Music CD Promo). Rasmir Mantree is back on Spirit of House with his one-of-a-kind truly incomparable sound, gracing us with four equally mesmerizing versions of "Rhythm's in the music" which features seductive vocals by Coray alongside luscious keys over deeply rumblin' rhythms - unadulterated underground house music at its best (Mantree Records CD Promo).

From Paul Youx comes the "Time to Play EP" which is loaded with two incredibly wicked underground-esque dance floor bombs, both using infectiously jackin' backdrops as playground for a dazzling jazz/funk inspired instrumentation (SoundMen on Wax Records CD Promo). In a similar vain is "Keep on steppin'" by The Playerz (DJ Romain & DJ Pepper) which, to cut right to the chase, is an uber cool disco influenced floor filler. Comes complete with the 'DJ Romain Jackin House Mix' previously available on the label's "WMC Sampler 2014" (Metro Trax CD Promo).
