It has been a while since we introduced you to new music from Ralf GUM, but thankfully the wait is over and he is back with a phenomenal slice of soulful heaven featuring Seattle based up and rising soul sensation Portia Monique on vocals. "Free (is all I wanna be)" is the first single taken from this forthcoming album "In my city", beyond doubt this incredibly soulful production will send shivers down your spine thanks to Portia Monique's amazing emotive vocals, glamorous melodies and wicked deep'n'gentle yet hypnotic rhythms. Quite simply a towering soulful gem by no means to be missed.

Andy Holder featuring Erik Dillard "Survive" (Richard Earnshaw Mixes)(Nuwavonic Records CD Promo)

Summer is here, so is this wonderful soulful feel-good production from Andy Holder and singer/songwriter Erik Dillard. Their glorious "Survive" comes your way in uber cool estival interpretations by Richard Earnshaw - to cut a long story short, Erik Dillard's inspiring vocals together with the grand keys and smooth yet thrilling rhythms are guaranteed to make you yearn for more. If you are wondering why we did not say a word about the original  mixes - they will be released at a later date.

Richard Earnshaw featuring Natasha Watts "Day by day" (Duffnote Records CD Promo)

In summer of 2012, Richard Earnshaw and songstress Natasha Watts blessed us with their debut collaboration "Won't let go" (later in January 2013, fresh remixes of the song were released), now the two are back with the long awaited follow up "Day by day". Tremendously infectious pulsating rhythms lead the way for Natasha Watts outstanding sultry vocals and enticing keys, altogether spreading a relentless sun drenched vibe you can't resist to dance to. The dub introduces keys which give the track more of a peak time feel.

Dawn Tallman "Don't let it fall" (AquaSol Recordings CD Promo)

Back in December of 2010, we reviewed the original mixes of "Don't let if all", a superb production featuring legendary house music diva Dawn Tallman's unmistakable refined voice. Now this beautiful soulful gem returns in fresh mixes by LooweeR (Luis Rivera) who combines Dawn Tallman's amazing vocals with a smooth yet contaminous tribal-esque backdrop and luscious keys and Big Logan whose 'Jersey Soul 2014 Remix' is an enchanting rendition oozing with a gorgeous melodious organic feel. In other words, this  release is pure fiyah...

Smi featuring Shea Soul "Just fine" (Shelter Remix)(Makin' Moves CD Promo)

In fall of 2012, we introduced you to the inaugural release of Makin' Moves, the breathtaking ""Just fine" by North London producer SMI and songstress Shea Soul (also included were stunning remixes by David Harness and Jihad Muhammad). Now Makin' Moves grace us with the previously unreleased 'Shelter Remixes' by Timmy Regisford who is taking Shea Soul's seductive vocals to all new heights on his tantalizing re-imagination laced with dramatic synth melodies and deep spell binding rhythms.

Tsalikee & Kathy Brown "Something about you" (KingStreet Records CD Promo)

Greek DJ/producer George Tsalikee joins forces with house diva Kathy Brown for "Something about you", a marvelous soul oozing house music gem built around a latin infused backing, grand horns, delectable keys and not to forget to mention Kathy Brown's passionate vocals. The 'Tsalikee Dub' is an incredible old school funk inspired affair, while Groove Assassin contributes utterly uplifting and soulful yet truly intoxicating vocal and instrumental remixes fueled with gentle percussive rhythms and heavenly keys and chords.

JoioDJ featuring Juju Gomes "The rhythm of love" (Dejavoo Records CD Promo)

JoioDJ teams up with famous Brazilian singer Juju Gomes for "The rhythms of love", a fabulous production which perfectly represents the sounds of summer. A gentle funked-up backdrop, eminent jazzy keys, classy horns and Juju Gomes tempting vocals are all it takes to create a soulful gem having timeless written all over. The stripped back 'Tribal Club Mix' turns the heat up with intoxicating tribal-esque rhythms and catchy synth hooks, and last but not least Domenico Albanese delivers a splendiferous organic jazz/latin spiced interpretation.

Earlier this year (in April to be precise), the original version of "Let it go" by Swiss DJ/producer Steven Stone and powerhouse vocalist L.T. Brown landed in our mailbox, this week we've been sent the remixes by Terry Lex & Sean David. To cut right to the chase, a sleek yet intriguingly thumpin' backing leads the way for illustrious keys, sweet guitars and of course the phenomenal truly unmistakable vocals of L.T. Brown - sheer musical bliss.

Wipe the Needle "Needle space Jazz" (FOMP CD Promo)

Wipe the Needle (the duo of Swedish born Mikael Nybom and UK based Lee Gomez) are going from strength to strength, with their latest offering "Needle space Jazz" being an utterly mesmerizing instrumental production. Quite simply, the enthralling deeper than deep afro-percussive rhythms, ethereal keys and grandiose jazzed-up saxophone altogether spread an infectious vibe you can't resist to dance to. Nuff said.

Lynne Summer "It's only physical" (D#Sharp Records CD Promo)

Joe Flame and his beloved D#Sharp imprint return to Spirit of House with two massive releases. First up we have "It's only physical", a blazin' hot production showcasing the incomparable enticing vocals of Lynne Summer. The lively original version with its impulsive rhythms and captivating synths is a sure-fire peak time favorite, the 'Soulful Mix' gives the track a laidback melodious feel, the 'Classic Mix' takes you back in time with a sumptuous piano, and LooweeR (Luis Rivera) reworks the track into a mind-boggling underground-esque affair. The second new release on D#Sharp is courtesy of Shumocka ShuVance who follows up his debut release "Endangered love" with another soulful bomb entitled "Spend some time". On the original version, Shumocka ShuVance's deeply rooted vocals alongside empyreal synth melodies, sublime jazzy keys and pulsating rhythms spread an infectious guaranteed to jam-pack the floor. The 'D#Sharp Remix' relaxes the vibe and gives the track a silky smooth deepened feel, while the 'Deep Remix' is on an unadulterated deeply groovin' tip.
