Classic Pick: LNR "Work it to the bone" (House Jam Records 12", 1987)
I got reminded of this undisputed Chicago house music classic when checking out this weeks new promos (one in particular but will not name it here)... Back in 1987, LNR aka the duo of Larry Thompson and Rick Lenoir released this dance floor bomb through House Jam Records, a simplistic track using jackin' tribal rhythms as foundation for those uber cool male spoken words. The rest is history...
