Italy's Filippo Mistretta aka Submantra and DJ Umbi join forces with songstress Francesca for "Sweet thinking", a beautifully orchestrated production featuring classy horns, grand jazzy keys and and emotive vocals by Francesca over a fervid funk drenched organic backing. The 'Soulful Mix' is a fantastic alteration of the original oozing with a heavenly soul/funk infused vibe, while the 'Deep Mix' is a truly melodious old school inspired deep house rendition. Last but no least, there is a sublime remix by  Francesco Cofano who adds his magical jazz/soul/funk oozing touch.

Invaders of Afrika "Pata pata" (DiverseCity Music CD Promo)

Finally the time has come and DiverseCity Music presents "Pata pata", the long awaited follow-up from South Africa's Invaders of Afrika to their 2012 anthem dance floor anthem "Walk the dance". Utterly deep relentless afro-tribal rhythms lead the way for luxurious jazzy keys and inebriant synth melodies, altogether spreading a hypnotizing feel you can't resist to dance to. A total of six versions of this irresistible track are featured, including a gorgeous acoustic version, a delectable broken beat flavored version and two superb re-imaginations by Soul Poizen. The package gets completed by the two equally amazing afro-deep bonus tracks "IoA in wonderland" and "Void".

Vencer Cafe featuring Ericka J. Hall "Music is an art" (Gruv Shack Records CD Promo)

South Africa's Vencer Cafe grace us with a delicious slice of deep house music entitled "Music is an art" featuring Ericka J. Hall on vocals. "Music is an art" is all about the deep contaminous funked-up backing groove, sweet guitars, not to forget to mention Ericka J. Hall's inspiring spoken word poetry. On remix duty is Ultra Soul Project who contributes both a glorious organic interpretation laced with sublime keys and a deep atmospheric workout perfect for late night, early morning play.

Mr. Deep & Black Orchestra featuring Whitney Houston "I'm every woman" (Ballroom Vocal Mix)(Night Scope Deep Recordings CD Promo)

In 1993, Whitney Houston did a cover version of the Chaka Khan classic "I'm every woman" (a song written by none other than Nickolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson) which was produced by Narada Michael Walden, with additional production by Robert Clivilles & David Cole (who were also in charge for the seminal house remixes released on the 2x12"). Fast forward to 2014, and Mr. Deep (Deep Elementz) and Black Orchestra add their unmistakable old school inspired deep touch, with the result being a precious slice of timeless underground house music featuring grandiose keys and chords alongside Whitney Houston's unequaled vocals and vibrant rhythms.

Exclusive Preview: Musaria featuring Saturna "Moments" (XtetiQsoul Fantasy Mix)(CD-R)

"Moments" by Musaria was originally released in fall of 2010 on Headset Recordings (complete with massive remixes by AtJazz), now this beautiful song featuring sultry vocals by Saturna has been given the remix treatment by XtetiQsoul (aka Siyabonga Ziqubu, member of the Iklwa Brothers collective) who  a mesmerizing afro-deep rework which combines the vocals with enchanting synth melodies and thrilling rhythms.

"Superstition", the lead single for Stevie Wonder's fifteenth album "Talking book", dates back to 1972 when it was released through legendary Motown Record. Fabrizio Diglio, better known as Fabry Diglio, takes on this unforgettable song and transforms it into a deep somewhat dark four-to-the-floor affair, with grand jazzy piano and spell binding rhythms accompanying Stevie Wonder's one-of-a-kind vocals.
