Rojey James presents "Soulful Vibes" (Amati Records CD Promo)

Portuguese label Amati Records (founded by Nanau and LPizzicato) presents their fifth release, and what a musical gem this two track EP by Rojey James is!!  "Can't you feel my pain" and "I don't wanna hurt you" both feature Rojey James' incomparable passionate vocals and an exquisite instrumentation including glorious keys, sweet guitars and lovely flute which together with the smooth yet contaminous funk drenched rhythms create a spell binding feel.

David Sabat & Global Niche Movement "Let it go" (High on Soul CD Promo)

Back in 2001, High on Soul's "WMC 2011 Sampler" featured David's Sabat's fierce original version of the Global Niche Movement produced "Let it go", now this powerful track gets a full single release complete with remixes by 60 Hertz Project and Deeptwelv. First up we have 60 Hertz Project who deliver a grandiose laid back interpretation combining Geno's deeply felt vocals with wonderful jazzy keys and smooth percussive rhythms. Next we have Deeptwelv whose version is a deep somewhat dark and dirty yet soulful tech-soul flavored affair perfect for late night play.

Nathan X "Found love" (Part 1)(Peng Africa CD Promo)

Peng Africa are going from strength to strength, with their latest offering "Found love" by Nathan X being an incredible soulful production not to be missed. "Found love" features the unmistakable heartfelt vocals of Nathan X alongside brilliant keys and chords over deep and smooth yet compelling rhythms. The remixes are courtesy of Paul Deep, Lele X and D.nel all adding their distinctive deep soulful touch, making this something truly special. This is only part one, we can't wait to get our hands on the next part...

The Pipesmokers featuring Diego Grassedonio and Riccardo Genovese "Late night rumble" (South Soul Elements Records CD Promo)

What a gem we have here... The Pipesmokers' jazz infused "Late night rumble" takes you on a spellbinding journey on the original 'Rough-and-Ready Mix' thanks to raw funked-up rhythms, joyful saxophone by Diego Grassedonio and enchanting keys by Riccardo Genovese. The 'In the Bar Mix' is a deeply thumpin' 4/4 rendition, followed by The Funklovers' sublime 70's flavored Disco-Funk interpretation. Last but not least, there is Davide Dallomo's excellent down tempo remix.

Jeremias Santiago & Dru Tiz featuring NR3 "I am your vitamin" (Sugar Groove CD Promo)

The fourth release on Swift of DJN Project's newly launched Sugar Groove label is courtesy of Jeremias 'FTL' Santiago who teams up with Dru Tiz and spoken word artist NR3 on "I am your vitamin", a massive track featuring uber cool spoken words and phat keys over thrilling rhythms. Juan Sanchez delivers a captivating deep version laced with luscious melodies which is perfect for late night play, Dru Tiz servers a more minimal stripped-back version that is truly mesmerizing, and finally Swift & Slikk Tim offer a jazz inspired interpretation oozing with a superb break-beat feel.

Hot on the heels of the unreleased mixes of "Sunday afternoon" comes the next bomb from Joe Rizla, the enticing instrumental "Good morning" featuring grand saxophone, lascivious synth melodies and beautiful jazzy keys over laidback yet contaminous rhythms. Beside the main version, there are two wicked dubs included perfect to work the flow and cause a stir on the floor.

The original version of  "We can work it out" by Cool Million (Rob Hardt & Frank Ryle) is an uplifting slice of modern Disco/Funk/Soul featuring sultry vocals by Westcoast Soulstars. Dave Doyle adds his magic touch to the song, taking it to new heights on his wonderful interpretation which uses a spell binding yet soulful funk drenched backing as playground for classic strings, jazzy horns and grand keys which harmonize perfectly with the unmistakable vocals. Patrick Green "Re Dub EP" (SofiTone Records CD Promo)

SofiTone label head Patrick Green returns with the uber cool "Re Dub EP" which features five equally fantastic tracks. The fiery tribal-esque "Nubian prayer" comes in two versions, with the 'Deep Mix' being a luscious late night affair fueled with celestials synth melodies, while the 'Organic Mix' features classy horns, utterly phat guitar and sublime organ play. Next is "Flor del mar",  included both in a beautifully instrumentated jazzed-up broken beat styled version and a glamorous deeply thumpin' dub. Finally, there is the laidback Hardmix! remix of "Shades" which features wicked spoken vocals by Will Barnes alongside melodious keys.
