Best of the Rest
We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene). However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section to highlight other noteworthy releases...
Every now and then you come across a release that consists of nothing but mind-blowing four-to-the-floor tracks - exactly such is the case here with the "Beats Don't Sleep EP" by Jason Bye. Three equally massive dance floor bombs that are all about ruthless rhythms, cool samples and wicked melodies (Playmore Terrys CD Promo). Next is the brand new release by Miguel Graca which features the hypnotizing deep techy "Acquired tastes" and the drum and percussion heavy absolutely inexorable "The call" (Release The Pressure CD Promo).
The summery season of the year is here (well, almost) so is the sun drenched "Island vibes" by Alan Russell where African marimbas and real Caribbean steel drums meet phat house beats - drop this and watch them dancers go wild on the floor... (Black Vinyl Records CD Promo). Deep Elementz returns with the "Deep Invader EP Part 2" which includes "Tibet at dawn" and "Twilight moods", two tracks guaranteed to jam-pack the dance floor thanks to infectious old school inspired rhythms and lascivious melodies (Night Scope Deep Records CD Promo).
Back in 2008, "Dead end" by Bangana took over dance floors by storm, now this deep tech-soul jewel returns featuring sultry vocals by Clarisse Muvemba returns in fresh earth-shattering remixes by Gill & Szenasi, Duran Genc and Aytekin Kurt & Duran Genc and Aytekin Kurt (Heya Hifi CD Promo). Next we have a truly joyous journey through deepest ancestral afro-deep rhythms thanks to Soul Varti and his amazing "Rituals Of Africa" which comes complete with stellar remixes by Homeboyz, EleRoots and Mthi Wa (FOMP CD Promo).
