Beginning of March, MoreHouse Records blessed us with "We rise", an inspiring collaboration by Groove Junkies (Evan Landes) with Opolopo (Peter Major) featuring the unrivaled haunting vocals of songstress Solara., then in mid-April stellar remixes by Mikki Afflick and Opolopo followed. Now the Groove Junkies remixes are here, undoubtedly these vibrant new interpretations combining Solara's amazing vocals with enthralling afrotastic rhythms and enchanting synth melodies will send the dancers into a frenzy.

A month ago, Cafe 432 (aka Jonsey and Kevin McPherson) gave us the blazin' hot "From above" featuring house music legend Arnold Jarvis, now they are back with "Freak" featuring singer Michelle Rivera. To make it short", "Freak" is a verily sexy yet uplifting slice of soulful bliss laced with the beautiful tempting vocals of Michelle Rivera, lovely guitar, dreamful keys and an irresistibly bouncin' organic backdrop.

Angelo Draetta featuring La Rocio "Something real" (Leda Music Promo)

Forthcoming to Leda Music is "Something real" a glorious summery production by Angelo Draetta and vocalist La Rocio. To cut right to the chase, "Something real" which uses a smooth yet relentlessly stompin' funked-up backing as foundation for sublime vibraphone, luxurious piano and La Rocio's wonderful emotive vocals is top-notch soulful house music. Comes highly recommended.

Jazz House Pick: Walter G "Already over" (Soulstice Music Promo)

Soulstice Music have a real beauty in their hands with this magnificent instrumental production by young and talented Italian DJ/producer Walter G (Walter Graffeo). Beyond the shadow of a doubt, the uber soulful laidback "Already over" is a masterly orchestrated jazz house jewel featuring some of the best Italian jazz musicians that is guaranteed to make you yearn for more... Mark Di Meo contributes a glamorous spiced up interpretation that is simply outstanding...

Next up on Iklwa Brothers Music is "Wensizwa" by Catzico in a verily mesmerizing remix by Kususa and Soulholic & 7Options. Most certainly this is afro house at its best, with absolutely resistless afro-deep rhythms leading the way for lush keys and ethereal chords, not to forget to mention the incredible deep-rooted vocals of Lizwi making "Wensizwa" something truly special.

FAM Disco featuring Josiah Ruff "Angel" (HSR Records Promo)

Italian trio FAM Disco (aka Paolo Fedreghini, Massimo Anelli and Max Montorio) has been going form strength to strength in recent months, their latest offering "Angel" featuring singer Josiah Ruff will soon be released on HSR Records. To cut a long story short, the summerlike "Angel" is expertly crafted and oozes with the incomparable passionate vocals of Josiah Ruff, sweet guitar, grand piano, celestial chords and a gentle organic backdrop.

Stephanie Cooke & Diephuis featuring Han Litz "Beautiful life" (ReelSoul Remixes)(KingStreet Records Promo)

In spring of 2011, we were celebrating the marvelous "Beautiful life" by Diephuis (Barend-Jan Beljaars) which features legendary house music diva Stephanie Cooke on vocal duty, then at the beginning of 2016 superb remixes by Mark Di Meo followed. Now this gem returns in sparkling interpretations by William 'ReelSoul' Rodriquez who adds his landmark truly melodious rich organic touch, thereby transforming the song into an uplifting sun drenched gem. Also included is the inspiring deep yet 'soulful rendition by Mark Di Meo from the 2016 release.

What we have right here is a sure-fire dance floor weapon by Kelly G entitled "The chosen few anthem" to be released soon on T's Box Records. Quite simply, this uber cool track built around merciless rhythms, inebriant synth hooks and wicked spoken words and vocals is guaranteed to cast a spell on you. The 'Deeper Message' mix gives the track a ruff'n'chunky feel, while Mike Dunn goes old school on his tantalizing re-imagination fueled with luscious keys, entrancing chords and spell binding tribal-esque rhythms.
