Pick of the Week: Teddy Douglas featuring Pauline Taylor "Don't turn your back on me" (Nervous Records Promo)

In fall of last year, US house music legend Teddy Douglas (of Basement Boys and Jasper St. Co. fame) blessed us with his fantastic debut solo artist album "I'm here" that includes a towering four-to-the-floor remake of the Frontline Orchestra all-time classic "Don't turn your back on me". Finally this jewel featuring an eminent rendition of the unforgettable lyrics by Pauline Taylor is getting a full single release complete with mind-boggling remixes. Teddy Douglas himself opens the package with a killer remix laced with joyous organ chords and an infectious organic backdrop, and he also provides a dope 'Organ Dub'. Next is Swiss DJ/producer Shaka who contributes a marvelous funk infused soulful house interpretation, followed by Tedd Patterson whose sophisticated remix is a sure-fire prime time anthem. Finally, Danny Krivit delivers an ingenious re-edit of the original version.
