Last week we reviewed the original version of "Know thy self" by VNICVM, a laidback afro deep track fusing gentle yet intriguing rhythms with sublime keys, ethereal chords and a beautiful spoken word poem by Kamau Abayomi. Following this week is a splendid remix by Rafael Moraes who transforms the track into a mesmerizing deep house affair which combines the eminent vocals with glorious keys, heavenly chords and relentlessly thumpin' rhythms. Essential.
