Back in 2001, Seattle based Viva! Recordings released "Farmyard Flavours" by The Rurals on full length CD and two 12" singles, now Peng Records present volume two which includes ten songs recorded around 1995-2001 which were forgotten and only recently discovered when Andy Compton was looking through his DAT collection. The songs feature the silky smooth vocals of Marie Tweek and guest musicians Pete Morris, Charlie Hearnshaw, Gurner, Alex Pamplin and Matt Cundy alongside Andy Compton; as the music was recorded the classic analogue way the sound is very warm and organic. There is plenty of more unreleased music in Andy Compton's archive that will see the light of the day soon...
