The spirited "Daylight" is all about Dee Lavender's gorgeous haunting vocals, phat keys, celestial synth melodies and the infectiously groovin' backing, not to forget to mention the uber cool rap vocals by Kelvin Sylvester. The 'Revival Mix' laced with grandiose jazzy piano, classy saxophone and percussive rhythms gives the track a verily lively feel, Monodeluxe & Pino Arduini contribute a truly tantalizing deep house workout, Leo Alarcon serves an absolutely inexorable aftotastic rework, and finally Sudad G transforms the track into an energetic prime time weapon.

Since the inaugural release in late 2016, UK soulful imprint SoulHouse Music have been releasing nothing but quality soulful house music encompassing some of the best talent the genre has to offer. The label kicks off the new year in grand style with their first album project entitled "SoulHouse Vol. 1" from label boss Brian Power loaded with a handpicked selection of prominent collaborations with Ali Tennant, Lifford, Sartorial, Shiv, Lloyd Wade, Ronnie Herel, Mike Delgado and regular SoulHouse Music vocalist Rebecca Scales, not to forget to mention the album also includes three brand new masterly crafted songs "You win" featuring Michelle John, "In memoria de Roberto" featuring Adriana and last but not least "You mean the world to me" featuring Marc Aron Evans. To get straight to the point, the "Anba dlo" EP ("Beneath the waters" in Kreyol) by Ezel forthcoming to Bayacou Records is nothing short of phenomenal... The spiritual depth offered by this EP is truly incredible, most definitely each of the included tracks is guaranteed to cast a spell on you and get your feet moving instantly. First up is "Nibo" a verily haunting carnival inspired track laced with celestial synths, glorious prayer chants and enthralling rhythms. Next is the utterly mesmerizing "The moon" fueled with inexorably pulsating rhythms and heady melodies, then we have "Caravan" an intriguing afrotastic track oozing with an absolutely irresistible galactical vibe, and finally there is "Lead by water" fusing beautiful rhodes with melodic synths and remorselessly thumpin' rhythms. This ingenious release by Ezel is by no means to be missed.

In spring of last year, Merecumbe Records blessed the world with "Coros en la calle" by Costa Rica based DJ/producer Doug Gomez and Cuban percussionist/vocalist Toto Berriel, an afro/latin soaked masterpiece oozing with enthralling percussive rhythms, illustrious keys, lovely guitars and exciting vocals. Now this ingenious track returns in absolutely dope remixes by Doug Gomez who transforms the song into an utterly hypnotizing dance floor jewel where the inexorable percussive rhythms and uber cool vocals are enriched with verily inebriant tech flavored synth hooks and melodies (there is an alternate 'Afro Caribe Mix' too which features only the percussive rhythms and vocals), and Myles Bigelow who contributes a superb interpretation laced with fierce rhythms and grand jazzy keys.
