Back in mid-March, we were celebrating "This I know" by Craig C (Craig Christensen), an expertly crafted soul infused production oozing with Brian Alexander Morgan's unmistakable emotive vocals. Now Check It Out Records present the promised remixes which are truly stellar as Skalp delivers a verily uplifting boogietastic interpretation, while DeejayKul serves a dreamful organic rendition that gives the song a deeper spiritual feel.

Zonum & Anthony Poteat "He is" / "Amazing" (Double Cheese Records Promo)

Double Cheese Records have a real beauty in their hands with this stunning release by Spanish producer Zonum which features the fabulous vocals of American singer Anthony Poteat. Both "He is" and "Amazing" a truly glamorous verily soulful jewels, combining Anthony Poteat's deep-rooted vocals with celestial melodies and smooth yet spell binding rhythms - sheer musical bliss. Not to forget to mention superb afro inspired re-imagination of "He is" by label head Luyo.

Coming soon to SP Recordings is "If you don't know" by South African DJ/producer Kay-9ine, a wonderful uber soulful production featuring warm melodic keys and the beautiful heartfelt vocals of Dana Byrd over a dulcet backdrop. ยง keep the vibe soulful and melodious on their rework, Tapes gives the track a fantastic old school flavored underground-esque feel, and last but not least DJ Vivona adds his signature utterly vibrant afro house touch.

Bayacou Records celebrate their one year anniversary with the ingenious "U made me" by label head Ezel, an utterly mesmerizing slice of dance floor bliss using mercilessly pulsating rhythms as foundation for the amazing haunting vocals of Ovasoul7 and inebriant synth melodies which give the track a dramatic feel. Dr Packer "Different Strokes Part 2" (Glitterbox Recordings Promo)

A few weeks ago, Glitterbox Recordings released Dr Packer's full length album "Different Strokes" which is available as digital download (including two continuous DJ mixes by Dr Packer) and 2xCD. Now the label presents the second installment in the 12" series which includes Dr Packer's re-imaginations of "Can't get enough" by Soulsearcher, "Lola's theme recut" by The Shapeshifters, "Sunday shoutin'" by Johnny Corporate and lastly "All I do" by the Cleptomaniacs featuring Bryan Chambers. Cafe 432 featuring Arnold Jarvis "From above" (Soundstate Records Promo)

Cafe 432 (aka Jonsey and Kevin McPherson) team up with house music legend Arnold Jarvis for "From above", to cut right to the chase the result of their collaboration is a bodacious sun drenched feel-good anthem using an absolutely relentless driving musical backing as playground for Arnold Jarvis incomparable truly one-of-a-kind vocals, filtered pianos and lush chords. Highly recommended.

FrankStar presents Cleveland P Jones "Better days" (4th Quarter Music Promo)

To make it short, "Better days" by FrankStar is an uplifting summery feel-good anthem featuring the unique tempting vocals of Cleveland P Jones, exquisite jazzy keys and luscious chords over an utterly contaminous funked-up backdrop. The remix is courtesy of Simon Onano & Riccardo Rizzoli who relax the vibe on heir sublimely soulful interpretation oozing with a gorgeous classic feel.

Kanomarli featuring Richard Rogers "Thinking about your love" (I Am House Promo)

Kanomarli (aka Tony Cano and Reggie Rodgers) together with Georgie Porgie present a contemporary yet respectful four-to-the-floor remake of the all-time Skipworth & Turner dance music classic "Thinking about your love" that features the distinctive powerhouse vocals of the one and only Richard Rogers. The release is truly eclectic and includes a fervid 'House Mix', a soothing 'Soulful Mix' as well as a 'Jackin House' version perfect for the bigger rooms.

We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene). However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section where, every now and then, we will highlight other noteworthy releases...

The "Remixes EP" by Dan E Mc features stunning verily eclectic soulful remixes by Manjit, Latest Craze and Tony Jesus of the songs "Take me high" (featuring dance music diva Kathy Brown) and "Can't get over" (featuring larger-than-life house music vocalist Michael Procter) which were originally released back in 2015 on the "Man of Honour" EP (SoundMen on Wax Records Promo). "In love" by Italian DJ/producer DJ Umbi is a wonderful summery gem laced with the magnificent vocals of Angelina Caplazi, wicked guitar, delectable keys and a gentle yet captivating organic backdrop (HSR Records Promo).

"Show me your soul" by Tali Freaks, Al Martino and S.U.Z.Y. has been picked by Double Cheese Records whose label boss Luyo reworks the track into a verily sexy super funky affair perfect for those hot summer nights (Double Cheese Records Promo). Next we have "Pure joy" by Silvia Olari coming your way in excellent mixes by Antonello Ferrari & Aldo Bergamasco and Max Mazzeo & Alberto Drago which perfectly showcase the beautiful vocals of Silvia Olari, giving the song an inspiring sun drenched feel (Sunflowermusic Records Promo).
