Best of the Rest
We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene). However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section where, every now and then, we will highlight other noteworthy releases...
SoulCat (Sammy Rock & DJ Housecat) take on the Michael Jackson's synth-pop classic "The way you make me feel", with the result being a gorgeous smoothly jackin' jazz infused (the added horns and keys are the real thing) four-to-the-floor rework guaranteed to send the floor into a frenzy (CD-R). "First to say goodbye" by DJ Micks (which features Robin Latimore on vocals) is back in utterly infectious, truly mesmerizing dance floor remixes by Kleva Keys (Tribe Records CD Promo).
Super Soul Music launch their new SuperTraxx division with "Drunken" by Jonathan Meyer, a truly mesmerizing deep'n'dark production perfect for late night action thanks to stormin' rhythms, lush melodies and not to forget to mention the haunting vocals by Thandy. Comes complete with remixes by Jomarano and DJ Vivona (SuperTraxx CD Promo). House Bros and Underdeep Inc. join forces to pay tribute to the Hardrive classic "Deep inside" with each of the three versions included in the package guaranteed to cause a stir (Stereocity Records CD Promo).
Finally the wait is over and we can all enjoy the remixes of Blaq Soul's "Vision" in their full glory. Both Karizma and Blaq Soul himself are pulling out all the stops, taking this dance floor gem originally released on "Lars Behrenroth presents Various Shades Vol.2" to a whole new level - mesmerizing afro infused deep house at its best (Deeper Shades Recordings CD Promo).
