D#Sharp Records are back on Spirit of House with the super delightful "Call me Harlem" produced by Joe Flame and performed by Mona Bode whose spoken word poetry harmonizes perfectly with the jazzy piano, the luscious chords and smooth yet spell binding rhythms. The prominence of house music from South Africa in this weeks update is undisputed, with Candi Bean Records about to drop two massive release from Hojulo titled "Journey to Zar EP" and "Love in my Dreams EP". Both releases are guaranteed to send shivers down your spine with their deep afrotastic rhythms and heavenly melodies, not to forget to mention the uber cool vocals by Hojulo. The remixes are courtesy of DJ Ouder who is pulling out all the stops and gives you plenty of options to work the floor.

Crossroads featuring Teisha Marie "Ain't nobody like you" (BeYourself Recordings CD Promo)

Back in March, BeYourself Recordings presented their wonderful debut release "Sunday afternoon" by Crossroads and songstress Deborah Falanga, now the second release "Ain't nobody like you" is ready for which Crossroads join forces with the highly talented Teisha Marie who impresses with a heartfelt rendition of the lyrics. First up we have Soulpersona who grace us with a marvelous soul/funk infused interpretation oozing with a glorious laidback feel. Second is Crossroad's warm and uplifting yet utterly soulful version oozing with a jaw-dropping classic house feel. By no means to be missed.

LPizzicato & Nanau "You are the one" (Remixes)(Amati Records CD Promo)

In November of last year, Amati Records released the wonderful "You are the one" by label founders LPizzicato and Nanau which features sensitive deeply rooted vocals by Jassele together with heavenly synth melodies and jazzy keys over deep laidback yet captivating percussive rhythms. Now the remixes are here, with Chaca turning the heat up on his remorselessly stompin' rework perfect for peak time play, The Deep Lover reworks the track into a deep melodious late night affair, Diogo Jacob contributes a grandiose broken beat styled funked-up re-rub of the original, and finally Keys Snow relaxes the vibe on his deep'n'mellow interpretation laced with soothing melodies.

Black Forest featuring Snowie "Lenggane" (Una Mas Recordings CD Promo)

We ain't done with with house music from South Africa yet as we want to introduce you to the bodacious "Lenggane" by Black Forrest and songstress Snowie coming soon on Una Mas Recordings. "Lenggane" is built around deep contaminous rhythms which are enriched with Snowie's passionate vocals and ethereal melodies. The remixes are courtesy of IndySoul who deepens the vibe to the max on his interpretation fueled with illustrious keys, Sal Negro who fires things up on his inebriant workout loaded with phat keys, and label head Steve Paradise who blesses us with a masterly orchestrated organic rework (Gianluca Carollo's trumpet is sheer musical bliss).
