Renn - Nights in Africa We don't think Afro-Soul infused house can be more infectious yet soulful than Renn's "Nights in Africa"... deep ruthless beats and drums, slick keys and gorgeous vocals altogether create a hypnotic journey you can't resist to dance to. The remixes are courtesy of Reel People whose delightful percussive workout oozes with jazzy piano and beautiful guitar licks and The Layabouts whose exquisite house interpretation is loaded with lush guitar and marimba hooks over a mesmerizing backdrop. "Nights in Africa" is sure to become one of this summer's anthems...

Picks of the Week

Sandy Spady "Million to one" (Daddy Funk Records CD Promo)

Sandy Spady - Million to one Since Sandy Spady's "Million to one" landed on our desk, we must have been listening to it a million times... and we still couldn't pick our favorite mix as they are all simply outstanding. Sandy Spady blesses us with her heartfelt unmistakable vocals on this marvelous production - make no mistake this highly talented lady is going to be a future diva. Jonny Montana & Craig Stewart provide sheer musical bliss with their trademark organic jazzy rework, while Black Sonix (Justin Stride) contributes both a relentlessly deep Afro flavored tech-soul journey and a timeless old skool interpretation. Filin Brake delivers two uber cool mixes taking the song to deepest grounds, while Tony Loreto serves a peak time favorite destined to destroy the dance floors with killer keys and a resistless groove.

Mona Bode - My first love ** Exclusive Preview ** Cyberjamz Records return with the beautiful "My first love", an ode to house music courtesy of Mona Bode who blesses us with her outstanding poetic spoken word performance. The track comes in a variety of fantastic mixes to choose from, making it hard to pick a favorite. There is the deep melodious 'Foremost Poets Adventure Mix' featuring additional vocals by Johnny Dangerous - both Michael Terzian and Trevor Fox contribute their own interpretation of this version, each adding his unique touch. Trevor Fox also serves the classy old school 'Ray of Light Mix' and the deeper 'Erotic Moody Mix'. And then there is the 'Big Osh Immortal Beloved Mix', a deep mesmeric workout oozing with celestial synth melodies. Not to be missed.
